Deacon's Ministry

 

The pastor has many duties, and he could not accomplish them all in a manner that he feels God would be pleased without the help of the deacons.  Pastors need your help, your support, your advice, and any other helpful assistance necessary.  This means that the deacon and the pastor must always have a business relationship, but more importantly, they must be friends and feel comfortable relating to one another.  The pastor and deacon must feel at ease expressing their personal feelings about any situation that may arise in the church, and any situation that may affect the church. 

 

Recommended scripture are Acts 6:1-7; 1 Timothy 3:8-13; and Exodus 18:13-27.
